‘Tin Hearts’ receives Ivor Novello nomination
Wired Productions and Black Razor Records are proud to announce our game ‘Tin Hearts’ has been nominated for an Ivor Novello for BEST ORIGINAL VIDEO GAME SCORE. Composed by the hugely talented Matthew Chastney.
The Ivor's celebrates songwriters and screen composers. It recognises the craft and achievements of outstanding music creators.
Presented by The Ivor's Academy since 1956, each winner receives a hand-crafted Ivor Novello statuette and joins a roll call of greats that includes Adele, Stormzy, Cathy Dennis, Annie Lennox, Amy Winehouse, Dave, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Joan Armatrading.
In 2023 the score for the video game “Tin Hearts” was released to critical acclaim. Other soundtrack credits of Matthew’s include trailers for ‘JOKER’, ‘Chernobyl’, ‘Bridgerton’, and original scores for ‘Black Fish’ and ‘Through a Screen Darkly’; two short films that were featured as part of the BBC New Creatives programme.
Rogue Sun, the studio behind ‘Tin Hearts’ was formed in May 2016 soon after the closure of historic UK based Lionhead Studios. The founding team all worked on multiple Fable games together, and formed the studio out of a shared passion to create innovative, thoughtful and memorable gameplay experiences. In 2023 they released Tin Hearts, a critically-acclaimed narrative puzzle adventure game.
TIN HEARTS is one of only 3 nominated scores alongside CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE III and STAR WARS JEDI: SURVIVOR.
The Ivor's with Amazon Music will take place on Thursday 23rd May 2024, Grosvenor House in London.
Our fingers are crossed for Matthew and we send our congratulations to all the nominees and wish them the best of luck.
